The show is being created by 6 local San Diegans who are producing this project on a 100% volunteer basis. Now in the final stages of filming, project organizers are calling on the support of the San Diego Soccer Community to help raise much needed funds to help with advertising costs.
Soccer Star – San Diego Producer, Ryan Ginard hoped that the passion for the sport locally would attract a number of donations through crowd funding website Indiegogo.
“If we can get enough soccer fans behind this project, we can make 'Soccer Star San Diego' happen.
“We are working towards a modest total of $2000, with donations as small as $1 helping us to make this project a reality. The added bonus is that you also receive rewards and perks for contributing!”
Perks include San Diego Flash Soccer Club merchandise and supporters names being shown in the end credits of each episode. If fans can’t donate any funds, posting the projects link on their Facebook and Twitter pages is just as important to attract new.
