The Super Lawyers selection process is recognized by courts and Bar associations nationwide. The selection process is a comprehensive and detailed attempt to produce a list of outstanding lawyers that have attained a high level of peer recognition for ethical conduct and professional excellence in their field of practice.
The goal of Super Lawyers is to create a credible list of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers who are searching for excellent legal services. The process itself consists of three basic steps: creating the candidate pool, evaluating the candidates by research, and peer evaluation by the area of practice.
Once a year Super Lawyers invites attorneys in each state to nominate the top attorneys that they have observed in action, and this is the first step in the nomination process, putting attorneys on their radar for further research and evaluation. The research staff evaluates candidates on 12 indicators of peer recognition including: professional achievement, verdicts and settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, their position at their law firm, outstanding achievements and more.
The final published list of Super Lawyers represents no more than 5% of lawyers in the state. The lists are published each year in both the state and regional editions of Super Lawyer magazines. Being named a Super Lawyer for 2012 is another testament to attorney Graham’s successful legal career. In addition to be selected as a Super Lawyer, he is also AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell®
