Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP, Names Kimpa A. Moss as Partner

June 12, 2012 - PRLog -- MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP, a leading Twin Cities accounting, tax and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Kimpa A. Moss, CPA, has joined the firm as a partner, effective June 1.  Ms. Moss brings extensive experience in functional and executive leadership to Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company.

Moss will function as Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company’s partner responsible for the firm’s operations and administration. “We believe the opportunities in our marketplace are great,” says Beth Kieffer Leonard, Managing Partner of Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company. “With the addition of a seasoned professional like Kimpa, we can advance our initiatives to benefit our clients and our people.”  

Prior to joining Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, Moss served as Chief Administrative Officer for RSM McGladrey, Inc. During her tenure, she also served as partner-in-charge of McGladrey’s national tax practice.

Moss holds her M.S. and B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Urbana. She earned her M.S. in Taxation at DePaul University, Chicago. Moss is active in Social Venture Partners, and volunteers through the Suburban Host Home Program, Shakopee Women’s Prison and Simpson Housing Services.
