PRLog - Jun. 12, 2012 - KLAMPENBORG, Denmark -- The term Business Model was introduced more than 10 years ago and has become the de facto standard for explaining how a business delivers value to its’ stakeholders and profits to its’ owners.
Hans Peter Bech, CEO, TBK Consult
A well-documented business model is especially important when we need to motive new employees, new investors, new partners and/or other new key players to support our business system. They all want to understand the big picture, assess the viability and the risk and understand how they can benefit by participating.
In 2010 Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur published the book “Business Model Generation” introducing the Business Model Generation Canvas. They also launched an iPad App supporting the development of business models.
“The Business Model Canvas and associated tools developed by Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur are excellent for the process of generating, testing and communicating business models. It nicely complements all the other business development tools we offer software driven companies who want to grow and globalize their business,” says Hans Peter Bech, Group CEO at TBK Consult. “However, our emphasis will continue to be on the execution of the business models. Demonstrating that the business models can produce scalable value for real users, customers, partners etc. and an attractive profit for its’ owners is always the ultimate objective.”
TBK Consult will offer management consulting services helping clients understand the framework and the 9 basic concepts, facilitate Business Model generation and audits, provide Business Model research and assessments (finding external data and assessing external feasibility of business model components) and perform Business Model documentation.
