Dr. Singleton originally earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Presbyterian College of Clinton, South Carolina followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Atlanta, Georgia. She then earned a Doctor of Medicine degree at Mercer University School of Medicine before completing a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee. Finally, Dr. Singleton completed her fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at The Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Norfolk, Virginia, known for producing the first successful in vitro fertilization pregnancy in the United States. To follow her fellowship training, served on the faculty at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina.
