4th Annual St. Matthews Midsummer Night’s 5K Run/Walk

June 11, 2012 - PRLog -- The St. Matthews Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with The Benefits Firm, a Louisville-based small-business specializing in employee benefits and asset management, will host their 4th Annual St. Matthews Midsummer Night’s 5K Run/Walk on Wednesday July 25, 2012 beginning at 7:00 pm. The run is presented by the St. Matthews Chamber of Commerce. All proceeds from this event will benefit the West End School of Louisville.

The 5K Run/Walk will start at 7:00 pm from the parking lot of Bethel St. Paul in St. Matthews (4004 Shelbyville Road). Early registrations is $25 and is available online at www.thebenefitsfirm.com. Registration at the event will be $40.

The West End School is an academically rigorous, year-round boarding school for middle school aged boys. Many of the boys have gone on to receive scholarships to prestigious secondary schools throughout Kentucky. There is no charge for room, board, or tuition and all expenses are paid through donations rom individuals, foundations, corporations, and events such as this 5K.
