Artisan Logistics Continues to Grow

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 11, 2012 - Artisan Logistics Worldwide, an Independent Landstar Agency, is proud to announce the hiring of three new individuals. We are grateful to our customers that have supported us and allowed us to continue to grow year after year.  We thank the hard work of our employees and the services they provide to help our customers get their products to market in a safe, secure, and timely manner.

Artisan Logistics welcomes Christopher "Ian" McCroskey of Charleston, SC, William J. Ladd of Blythewood, SC and Amber Baker of Lexington, SC to our Columbia, SC location.  

Christoper “Ian” McCroskey is a 2006 graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  McCoskey has been training with the truckload operations team.  McCroskey will soon transition to outside sales for the company after spending six months in operations.   His enthusiasm to confront challenging situations will serve our customers well and sustain Artisan Logistics' quest for excellence.

Willam J. Ladd is a 2011 graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  Ladd was a standout baseball player at The Citadel and named to the All Southern Conference Tournament Team in 2010.   Ladd will join the truckload operations team.  His competitive nature and drive will serve Artisan Logistics’ customers well as the capacity market continues to tighten.

Amber Baker is a 2004 graduate of Dutch Fork High School and is currently pursuing a degree from Midlands Tech University in Geographic Information Systems.  Bakers’ extensive organizational and computer skills are being utilized as Artisan Logistics’ Administrative Assistant.  In this position she has streamlined and organized billing, accounts receivables, shipping and logistics schedules as well as sales administration.
