Akadema Endorser Lucas Luetge Has Not Given Up An Earned Run In The Majors Yet

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 11, 2012 - Hawthorne, NJ – June 11, 2012 – Akadema endorser Lucas Luetge of the Seattle Mariners, a lefty specialist, has not given up an earned run yet in his first 15 innings of his Major League career.  On Friday, June 8th, he was 1 of 6 pitchers to combine for a no hitter against the Dodgers, throwing 1/3 of an inning.  Luetge attended San Jacinto College from 2006 to 2007, going 11-3, with a 3.56 ERA. He also played one season at Rice University in 2008, going 1-0 with a 6.16 ERA.  He was drafted in 2005, in the 31st round by the Chicago White Sox, and the 18th round in 2006 by the White Sox, but didn’t sign.  In 2011 Luetge played at AA Huntsville in the Southern League, going 1-3, with 3 saves, a 3.13 ERA, and struck out 69 batters in 46 games.  Luetge held left-handed batters to a .175 batting average, and allowed no home runs, and struck out 32.  Luetge uses an Akadema ASB-104, with a modified trap.
