The Career Challenge runs June 25-July 1.
The Career Challenge works through a process that is focused on revealing to the participant his or her special gifts, talents, and preferences when it comes to making a living.
Some of the steps of the Career Challenge include: exploring the individual's past for clues to career influences – even going as far back as early childhood, when play came naturally; determining personal core values and brainstorming how to put them into action in professional life; identifying key strengths and weaknesses and matching them with career opportunities;
At the week's end, participants will be look back on a rich series of discoveries, and be ready to move forward armed with an exciting vision and plan, with which they can proceed to create their perfect job.
CreateWriteNow's online journaling challenges include day-by-day assignments from a workbook, and the opportunity to discuss your progress with fellow participants, in a private online forum.
During the Career Challenge, the workbook, private online forum, and free consultations with CreateWriteNow's leader, Mari L. McCarthy, are focused on helping participants see definite progress during the week.
To get a feel for the program, interested people are invited to download a chapter of the workbook, at no cost.
CreateWriteNow emphasizes therapeutic journaling for health and self-growth. Programs available through the company include journaling as a way of dealing with the past, shaping the present, and imagining the future, touching on all stages in an individual's life.

Topics have included ways in which journaling can be used in job searches, losing weight, overcoming writer's block, and a host of health and wellness issues; as well as guides to establishing a journaling habit, and using it to find peace of mind and body.
The course is free, though participants must register in advance and purchase a workbook ($21.97), available for digital devices like Kindle, Nook, Sony Reader, iBook. Details and registration can be found at http://www.createwritenow.com/
