Linium Staffing Donating Money-Per Vote to the Maddie’s Mark Foundation in Social Madness Contest

June 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Linium Staffing is ready to show the Albany area exactly how social media can change the world for a child in the capital region in a meaningful way. As part of its campaign to win the Albany Area Business Review’s Social Madness competition presented by Capital One Spark Business, Linium Staffing will also help raise funds for a philanthropic project close to its heart – the Maddie’s Mark Foundation (www.MaddiesMark.org).  Miriam Dushane, Linium Staffing Branch Manager explained the process, “Anyone is eligible to vote.  For each vote Linium Staffing receives, beginning Friday, June 8th, we will automatically donate $1 to the Maddie’s Mark Foundation. To vote, anyone can visit http://www.bizjournals.com/albany/exclusives/socialmadness, choose the Medium Companies tab, find Linium Staffing and then click Vote. Voters can also vote several times on all of their favorite social media sites including Linked In, Twitter and Facebook. It’s just that easy. If we win, we’ll also make another contribution to the foundation. The local competition ends June 18th, so we need people to take a minute and vote now to help us win and raise money for this great cause.”

The Social Madness contest is a corporate media challenge that measures the growth of a company's social presence and creates healthy competition between local businesses to see who can garner the most votes. Companies are split according to size – small, medium and large just to account for differences in networks. Participants leverage their social influence and vote for their favorite local businesses on The Business Journals' Social Madness page - http://www.bizjournals.com/albany/exclusives/socialmadness.  The local Albany competition runs through June 18th.

The Maddie’s Mark Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation established in 2012 in memory of Madeline Musto, a 5-year old little girl whose time was short, but whose heart was big.
