Since the launch in 2010, the shop has grown to be an integral part of the community; attending and taking part in events such as the Herts Show and Tring Fairtrade Fortnight; acting as official ticket agents for a number of local organisations such as the Pendley Court Theatre, Spirit of Tring and Tring Carnival. Furthermore, Toby and Sarah have recently been trialing their homemade jams and preserves before the official shop launch later this year.
Over the past 12 months, the shop has launched its website with the increasingly popular ‘recipe of the month’, courtesy of Sarah and her delicious homemade cakes, soups and pastries. Toby has participated as a judge at the prestigious World Cheese Awards held at the BBC Good Food Show. In addition, the shop has been awarded top marks in the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme; a Food Standards Agency/Local Authority partnership initiative, designed to assist consumers decide where to eat out or shop for food with good food hygiene standards.
