“I was so honored to be asked to speak to the great students at Henry George School of Social Science,” said Lee. “The students were very attentive to the presentation, and the Q&A session at the end was really enlightening and engaging. It’s great to see that there are so many interested, passionate students entering the field of global trade who are concerned with social and economic impact.”
The presentation focused on many key points, including the challenges in international trade for small and medium-sized enterprises, the role of emerging technology in international trade (such as the web and social media), a case study detailing the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement, information about Import Export Center events, and details about InsightLab Pacific’s accomplishments and future plans.
“I really hope to see some of the students out at our monthly Import Export Center events,” Lee continued. “Our monthly events provide great networking opportunities, remarkable keynote speakers, and powerful information about international trade and emerging technologies.”
