SUPA, Texas Hip Hop Rising Star, Signs with Multi-platinum West Coast Producer

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 10, 2012 - Oakland, California – June 10, 2012 - SUPA™ has just signed a production agreement to work on his next recording at famed Oakland-based Pajama Studios with James Gardiner of Touch-Tone Productions, the award-winning composer, arranger, orchestrator, producer and recording engineer with numerous Grammy nominations and 42 gold and platinum awards.

SUPA, recently selected to be featured nationally as a SuperCuts™ New Artist Ambassador,  heads to the West Coast soon to record in the same studio that has produced hits for such legendary artists as Master P, Tupac Shakur, Luniz, Beyoncé – Destiny’s Child, E-40, India Arie, Najee, Kenny G, EnVogue, Will Smith, Jody Watley, Too $hort, Mac Mal, Mia X, Spice 1, John Lee Hooker, Jr., and Tony! Toni! Toné!

Gardiner’s filmography as a soundtrack mix engineer includes Bad Boyz II, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Dr. Doolittle, Tales from the Crypt, Sugar Hill, Menace II Society, Boyz in the Hood, and Howard the Duck, as well as video games such as Mach Warrior 3: Pirates Moon, B17-Flying Fortress, Top Gun: Hornet’s Nest and Star Trek: Birth of the Federation, plus countless television shows.
