June 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Heidelberg, Germany - The problem of locking down Apple's most recent MacBook Air models has been solved by German Apple lovers - again. After more than one year of designing, prototyping and testing, the new security bracket was released yesterday.

The new "macBracket" model, like its predecessor, is made of steel alloy and can be used with all cable locks that fit the standard Kensington security slot. It is compatible with all MacBook Air models released in 2010 and 2011.

"It was an extremely tough task to design a security bracket for the newer MacBook Air models. The unconventional shape of the MacBook Air hinge posed a big challenge, and we had to go through many different design ideas and numerous prototyping stages" says Tom Ziehl, owner and founder of macBracket.com.

"We were always convinced that there is a way to do it; we had a breakthrough about 2 months ago, when we were able to create a working prototype which we brought to perfection within the last few weeks", he continues.

The new macBracket model can be ordered online via the macBracket.com website and is shipped worldwide.

macBracket.com was founded in 2010 to provide simple and portable security solutions for MacBook Air owners. All design and manufacturing is done in Germany.
