Painting With A Twist To Host Benefit For Survivors' Caucus with the Tx Council on Family Violence

June 8, 2012 - PRLog -- On June 24th, Austin’s Painting with a Twist will host Painting with a Purpose, a benefit for the Survivors' Caucus with the Texas Council on Family Violence.  The Texas Council on Family Violence Survivors’ Caucus is a statewide group of individuals and family members who have survived family violence.  We promote the awareness that victims are survivors.  We work to end family violence by changing perceptions and stereotypes about family violence through public awareness and education.  Come and paint to make a difference with a local artist. The painting of the evening is "Picasso's Woman in the Mirror." We will guide you step by step on how to complete the painting of the evening. The class is from 2:00-5:00pm, reservations should be made online at www.paintingwithatwist.com/northaustin. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Survivor's Caucus.
