Largest Survey of Independent Educational Consultants Reveals Significant New Trends

The Profession is exploding in size and influence as more families turn to IECs for assistance

PRLog - Jun. 8, 2012 - FAIRFAX, Va. -- Fairfax, VA—The profession of independent educational consulting has changed dramatically, according to a survey of over 500 IECs worldwide by the Independent Educational Consultants Association. The survey explored everything from fee structures, delivery models, newly emerging services and specialization, and more. The results show a notable increase in the size and significance of independent educational consulting, a change in how services are being delivered and paid for, and a shift in who client families are, and the nature of college attendance among clients.

The complete results of the survey will be released on Tuesday, June 12, in IECA’s “State of the Profession: Results of the Latest Research” webinar. To register for the webinar, go to http://www.iecaonline.com/webinars.html Qualified media representatives will be given a pass to attend the webinar for free.
