Since the creation of the National LATINA Symposium in 2004, LATINA Style has been actively involved in the efforts the Department of Defense and the Services engage in to support Latinas serving in the military. We showcase the accomplishments of military heroes via our Letters from the Front column every month and our Annual Distinguished Military Service Awards Ceremony and Luncheon at the National LATINA Symposium in early September. This year, with some of our Corporate Partners and with the guidance of our Military Advisory Board, we are launching a four city tour to help military veterans transition into the civilian workplace. The sessions will include resume writing, interview tips, job boards and postings, the power of social media and networking.
