Enjoy Euro 2012 coverage at Swansea's London 2012 Live Site

June 8, 2012 - PRLog -- The UEFA Euro 2012 football tournament kicks off this weekend and Swansea’s London 2012 Live Site in Castle Square will be showing all of England and Ireland’s group matches along with a selection of games from the preliminary rounds.

The Big Screen coverage begins on Sunday (10 June) with Spain versus Italy at 5pm followed by Ireland’s first game in the tournament against Croatia kicking off at 7:45pm.  England’s first match is versus France and takes place on Monday 11 June at 5pm.

Frances Jenkins, Swansea Council's Strategic Manager for Tourism, Marketing and Events said, “Swansea’s London 2012 Live Site offers residents and visitors an alternative way to enjoy major sporting competitions and events and we hope that all who come to watch Euro 2012 have a great time.

"The big screen is a great City Centre attraction and in addition to the great events held there recently, we also have an exciting and varied programme lined up for the rest of the summer including Wimbledon, Royal Opera House Ballet, family films and of course the Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
