Show host, Cooker Britta Nelson (view video), will demo recipes from different locations across the country using local fresh ingredients, basic pantry supplies, and limited kitchen tools. Each week Britta will demo recipes which are simple yet sometimes complex in flavors, such as Chicken Mole with Creamy Cilantro Slaw or Grilled Steak & Chimichurri Sauce with Grilled Romaine Salad with Caesar Vinaigrette.
Viewers will be able to download the recipes demoed along with recipes on how to use the leftovers to create another fabulous meal, complete with pairing ideas.
The cooking segments are sponsored in part by consumer products groups who feel their product can meet the demands of this $171 billion dollar industry. “We are being very selective”, said Mona Heath, VP Sales and Marketing. “Obviously we have limited space in these short segments to showcase products, but we are hoping we can also attract product owners who would like to reach our readers through special offers, such as trial sizes and coupons.”
