Utah Company Posts New Jobs Only Days after Winning $100K

June 7, 2012 - PRLog -- For Utah based company CompleteSpeech, there’s no time to lose - after winning $100k, they are already hiring as many as 5 new employees.  CEO David Larsen and VP Operations Dan Smith were awarded 1st place in the Growth category of the Grow America Springboard Competition on May 21st after pitching their business plan in front of a live audience and a panel of celebrity judges.  The competition was the first of a series of competitions aimed at creating jobs in Utah and around the nation.  Hundreds of competitors had entered the competition separated into three separate categories: Idea, Start-up and Growth.

“We are honored by this award,” says Larsen. “To us, this isn’t prize money; it’s a responsibility to give our entrepreneur community a return on their investment by creating jobs.” Within 48 hours of receiving the award, CompleteSpeech had already posted two new jobs, a graphic artist/video producer and a C# software developer.  They have since added 3 additional sales positions, full & part-time.

The graphic artist & software positions start at ≈25 hrs/week, but are expected to quickly develop into full-time and potentially even management positions as the company continues to expand.  Smith says, “We’re looking for individuals who believe in our company and want to grow with us, there is great potential for the right people.”
