June 7, 2012 - PRLog -- The LifeLine Institute for EMS & Allied Health Professionals is offering a one-month “Boot Camp” EMT Training Class beginning June 15.

This intense, quick-learning program is fully certified and accredited by the MA Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services. The full-time program runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, from June 15 to July 15.  Following successful course completion the students will be eligible to sit for the state examination to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Tuition for the course is $1,000, plus $75 for the manual and $150 for the state examination fee. The tuition also includes a BLS (Basic Life Support) Refresher Course and CPR Recertification Course which must be completed within two years after the initial certification.  There will be several additional “boot camp” programs: July 16-August 16, and December 20-January 20.

For those who cannot commit to a full-time training program, the LifeLine Institute also offers a traditional program schedule, over a three-month period. These courses typically meet two nights during the week plus additional scheduled Saturday classes. This class will run from September 11 to December 6, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m. plus Saturdays. Tuition is $699 plus the manual ($75) and state examination fee ($150).
