Prosidian Consulting Awarded A US General Services Administration (GSA) MOBIS Contract# GS-10F-0309Y

June 7, 2012 - PRLog -- ProSidian Consulting, LLC has been awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) 874 1 contract for Consulting Services (Contract# GS-10F-0309Y).  The contract has three (3) five (5) year options for a total of twenty (20) years with the base period beginning May 18, 2012 through May 17, 2017.  MOBIS is a Government Wide Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Acquisition Contract that provides federal government agencies a centralized source to acquire Consulting Services.

The contract vehicle is open to all federal agencies and provides streamlined access to a broad range of management and technical support services, enabling total and complex consulting solutions to be acquired under a pre-competed multiple award contract.  The MOBIS program offers a full range of management and consulting services that can improve federal agency and private sector performance and their endeavor in meeting mission goals.

Founded in 1949, GSA serves as a centralized procurement and property management agency for the federal government.  GSA manages more than one-fourth of the government's total procurement dollars and influences the management of $500 billion in federal assets, including 8,300 government-owned or leased buildings and 170,000 vehicles.  MOBIS is a contracting mechanism by which ProSidian Consulting’s professional services can be accessed quickly and economically.  Similar to an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, MOBIS was created by GSA to enable streamlined procurement from prequalified contractors.

As a MOBIS contractor, ProSidian Consulting, LLC possess the necessary expertise to facilitate how the federal government responds to a continuous stream of new mandates and evolutionary influence such as the President's Management Agenda; Government Performance and Results Act; Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act; OMB Circular A-76; Federal Activities Inventory Reform Act; government reinvention initiatives such as benchmarking and streamlining.  Through the MOBIS Schedule, ProSidian Consulting can help federal agencies and private sector clients improve performance and accomplish mission goals with specialized management consulting, training services, facilitation, surveys, acquisition management support, program and project management, as well as introduction of new services.
