June 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Artist and blogger, Brent Hallard, is the latest artist featured on The Wrighter, a blog created by artist, writer and actress, Kobina Wright.  Hallard was invited to be interviewed as part of a series that pays tribute to the sale of an iconic painting by Edvard Munch, “The Scream.”

Hallard blogs for Visual Discrepancies, and according to the site, “Visual Discrepancies is a research blog dedicated to the thought processes and material necessities, the risks involved, for artists who are getting there where art is at.”

On The Wrighter (http://www.thewrighteronline.com/2012/06/today-brent-hallard.html) Hallard answers five key questions that Wright intends to ask most of the artists featured on the blog from May until the end of summer (2012).

When asked about how he wants to be remembered one hundred years from now, Hallard replied, “Out of the box for the time, independent, and generous.”

The Wrighter is scheduled to feature two artists per week as the planned features are rolled out on the heels of the recent sell of one of Wright’s own paintings.  “Newton’s Attraction,” is part of her latest series of paintings from the Kobiphysics series.

Wright is a California native who earned her BA  in Communications from the California State University, Fullerton.  She has created several art series, including, “Fractured,”  “Cali Free,” “Eleven Twenty-Three Girl” and most recently, “Kobiphysics.”  Wright is also now a featured artist on the online gallery, America Fine Art (https://www.americafineart.org/Kobina).

Wright has also written several books, including, “50” and “A Crime And A Simplification Of Something Sublime,” the latter includes several of her sketches.  She has performed in theater productions, independent films and commercials and is currently working on a collection of poetry.
