PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 7, 2012 - After two, one hour flights the Dragons eventually boarded thier home for the next seven nights at the Hilton resort in hurghada Egypt.  After a short briefing, equipment was set up and cabins were allocated before setting sail the following morning to start thier Red sea experience.  A check dive was carried out on Posiedon Reef, Sha'ab El Erg where it became obvious that the weeks diving was going to be crammed full of marine life.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kTjfTMWd9M
This shallow reef dive (14m) was home to many spieces (too many to name them all) including Giant Moray Eels, Blue Spotted Rays, Trigger Fish & Parret Fish.  This set the bar quite high because being a training site we all thought it was going to be a bit sparse of life and we were not dissappoionted!  All the reefs were crowded with marine life, so much so, by the time we got to day three we were thinking oh yea there's another Spotted Ray and not bothering to take any more photos of it.  But when a turtle with a shell the size of a large dining room table swims around you for 15 minutes of a 40 minute dive, the video and photos became a priority.  Turtles were the highlight of the week until 5 bottle Nosed Dolphins decided to put in an appearance at the Gota Abu Ramada Reef at a mere 15m deep and glided passed us without a care in the world.
Being so close to them underwater is breathtaking seeing then move gracefully and effortlessly around us.  Although the dolphins were the highlight of the week, the Northern Red Sea has some fantastic wrecks and we were treated to some of the best.  The Thistlegorm (a WWII cargo ship) that was bombed and sank fully laden whilst anchored was an extraordinary experience, carrying out three dives on one of the top ten wrecks in the world.  Other wrecks encountered were Ghiannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K and The El Mina Mine Sweeper.  A fantasic weeks diving was had by all and Dragon Divers can arrange and organise any trip you require with a leading operator in Egypt at very competitive rates.  For more information and to view more videos taken during the week check out our web site www.dragondiverscyprus.com
