Paraco Gas Acquires Propane Operations of Cloyd Howard, Inc.

June 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Paraco Gas Corporation, one the nation's largest independent propane retailers, has completed its acquisition of Cloyd Howard, Inc., in Walden, New York.

With the acquisition, Paraco Gas assumes service to nearly 2000 residential accounts and distribution of over 300,000 gallons of propane in Orange and Ulster Counties in New York. Accounts will be serviced from Paraco's Ellenville, NY location, and many of the employees of Cloyd Howard, Inc. will be retained by Paraco Gas.

According to Joseph Armentano, CEO of Paraco Gas, the acquisition will be seamless for existing Cloyd Howard Company, Inc. customers.

Paraco Gas provides over 40 million gallons of propane to more than 80,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in nine states, operates 25 propane distribution facilities and employs over 300 workers.Paraco was ranked fifteenth on LP Gas Magazine's Top 50 Propane Retailers list in 2011.
