There is a gamut of characters gather in his narrative. A number of facts are merged together to eke out a holistic pattern. The theme of the book can only be understood, just when you complete all of the stories. This is, of course, a new technique in the fictional writings, to emerge a certain feeling out of apparently unconnected “heaps of broken images”.    His first story deals with an ordinary boy with extraordinary communication problems. His is no autistic case. But, he always feels insecure to air and share his views. The second one is about a strong confident practical woman. But she has her own limitations, her weaknesses which she is thoroughly unaware of. Here again another story, where there are two college roommates come to terms with life against their will. They are compelled to pursue courses for their future, which they hardly want to follow. They can never face their parents, their well-wishers and curse their luck and lack of guts privately. The next story follows, which is about a maid in old India, who incurs trouble due to her amazing riches. In another one, a retiring politician's final speech lets the people know where India really stood. In his supposedly last public speech the politician unmasks the heinous trade of politics.

  The Point of Everything is a collection of stories written by an observer of relationships, ranging from father-daughter to patriot-beloved country. Partho assures his readers that, these stories are light enough for a bed time read yet heavy enough to make us dream about our present state, in our career, life and country.
