Travel Managers Celebrates Excellence in Fiji

June 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Travel Managers New Zealand recently celebrated its tenth year in business by hosting a highly successful 2012 conference and awards night to recognise broker excellence. Top brokers were rewarded and recognised for outstanding sales and service.

Fourteen top High Flyers were recognised on the night, including Angela Manase, Johnny & Novita Parulian, Bhagavan Srinivasa, Carole Mills, Roger Glynan, Kristin Edgeworth, David Coley, Keith Leadbetter, Sarah Harrop, Kay Humphries, Larissa Dunn, Kelly Ogilvie, Hamish Morison and Heather McKenzie. As a reward for their great achievement, the top High Flyers and their partner will join the Directors on an all inclusive trip to Perth flying Air New Zealand from 5-9 September 2012.

The Awards night also saw Angela Manase awarded New Broker of the Year and Shavourn Nelson was awarded Niche Broker of the Year. The Top Broker Award was handed out to Kelly Ogilvie for her outstanding achievement. Ms Ogilvie remarked she was overwhelmed and ecstatic with the award.

Ms Ogilvie stated: "The weekend conference was a great opportunity for us to learn and share ideas and experiences with my peers. The Top Broker Award has been a fantastic way to end the weekend. I'm extremely thankful for the opportunities and support that the Travel Managers Group has afforded me throughout my career."

Mike Southcombe, Managing Director of Travel Managers mentioned that the weekend was a huge success. "The conference has proved beneficial to everyone. Our brokers have learned how they can continue to upskill and bring value to their clients and take advantage of the many marketing tools available to them."

Mr Southcombe further stated: "Celebrating our tenth year in business and coming back to Fiji where it all started back in 2003 was very exciting. It was a great weekend to showcase to everyone how far we have come and the future looks very promising."
