PRLog - June 5, 2012 - PALM COAST, Fla. -- Flagler Beach, FL-- Grab the kids, your shades and some sunscreen and come to Flagler Beach Wednesday, July 4 for one of the most popular Independence Day celebrations around. Hosted by the Flagler Beach Chamber and the City of Flagler Beach, the one-day celebration kicks off at 9AM with fun scheduled throughout the day.
Visitors will start lining the streets early eagerly awaiting the 10AM start of a traditional holiday parade hosted by Flagler Beach Rotary. After the parade, stick around for the “cornhole”
Like live music? We’ve got that covered starting at 2PM with the second annual “Battle of the Bands.” Six local bands will compete for $1,000 in cash prizes. If you’re in a band or know a great one who’d like to enter, please call Jimmy Mason of Mason Music at 386.793.8650. (Music should be “family friendly.”)
Advance registration forms for contests and events can be picked up at the Chamber, or downloaded from www.flaglerchamber.org. Vendor applications will be accepted until June 22.
