Jun. 5, 2012 - The Baitul Salaam Network, Inc. a non-profit domestic violence awareness organization is taking applications now for FREE toys/gifts for Eid Al Fitr (days of recurring happiness). All who apply must earn 50K or less and have children at home full-time age 15 or younger. This celebration follows the holy month of Ramadan (29-30 days of fasting) of the Muslims. Grand parents who can prove they contribute 50% or more to the monthly expenses of their grandchildren can apply. Daycare providers and centers who take government subsidies can also apply.
The gifts are given to all children regardless of their religion, race or color.
Due to the hurricane in the NE and the ill health our sponsor last year we did not get to deliver all of the gifts to people outside of metro Atlanta. All who are on our list from last will be contacted this year and rescheduled to receive FREE toys/gifts.
