By: Del's Lemonade Las Vegas, NV- Rhode Island based Del’s Lemonade, an institution on the east coast for nearly 65 years has expanded and is now selling its icy treats in Las Vegas, NV. “Not many people who are from the west coast know about Del’s but people from back east are very familiar with our brand,” said Mitch Nestor, Del’s Lemonade’s west coast distributor. We hope to be able to create the same type of following that we have on the east coast here in Las Vegas.” Del’s Lemonade was founded in Rhode Island in 1948 by Angelo DeLucia and they are the oldest producers of frozen lemonade in America. Del’s is the only soft frozen lemonade that is all natural and it has the lowest concentration of sugar of any soft drink in the country. All of Del’s products are low in carbohydrates and 100% fat and cholesterol free. Each year, Del’s squeezes more than two million fresh lemons to make its formula. The frozen lemonade is distributed through more than 100 outlets on the east coast including trucks, mobile pushcarts and kiosks at beaches, ballparks and special events. Del’s Lemonade was nearly named the “Official Drink of Rhode Island” in 1993 and has been featured on the Food Network four times, in the Las Vegas Review Journal’s Taste Section, in the New York Times Dining Section Food Review and many other publications. Currently, Del’s Lemonade is being sold in Las Vegas at Bagel Café, Durango High School and the Southwest Korea Technical Academy. It will be available in Harrah’s Hotel and Casino’s Carnival Court in the near future. Nestor has also sold Del’s at the recent San Gennaro and Filipino Feasts and he will have a booth at the Super Run Car Show in Henderson September 20-23. Del’s also offers prepackaged cups of frozen lemonade available in different sizes for organizations, events, schools, churches, car dealers, hotels and giveaways. In addition to frozen lemonade, Del’s also offers watermelon and peach flavored drinks which are often used as bases for mixed alcoholic beverages. Del’s Margarita Mix is the company’s newest product and it will be available in restaurants and bars throughout the city. Nestor said that Las Vegas’ 100+ degree summer days are great for Del’s business. “Del’s will thrive here,” he said. “Our product is wholesome and delicious and our prices are reasonable. We have been around for a long time and have built a spotless reputation by making every effort to accommodate the needs of our customers.” For more information about Del’s Lemonade call (702) 604-0728 or visit their website dels.com End
