Operating locally through its affiliate, the Medical Arts Center in Templeton which was formerly owned and operated by Twin Cities Community Hospital, First Choice Physician Partners will expand its presence in the County by partnering with the existing local physicians as well as introducing new physicians to the community. By California requirement, a Medical Foundation must consist of 40 physicians of 10 specialties and two thirds must practice full time. In addition a Foundation must participate in medical research and provide a community benefit such as care to the uninsured.
Funded by generous donations from the local community, including annual grants from Tenet Healthcare Corporation, FCPP will provide vital medical research, care to those in need, new and improved medical facilities, medical education programs, scholarship programs, and the introduction of needed medical specialties and physicians to the North County community.
“Twin Cities Community Hospital is proud to support First Choice Physician Partners and its mission to work with our local physicians, help meet our communities’
Twin Cities Community Hospital CEO Rick Lyons concurs, adding, “FCPP provides an infrastructure that we lacked in the past and makes is possible to recruit physicians who would not have considered this area in years past.”
