New Atlanta R&B Soul Artist Working with Chicago Label

Born Kamedah Amoi Bowyer on September 23, 1990, this talented up and coming superstar hails from Mansfield, Pennsylvania where she comes from a musical family where her grandparents sang as well as her uncle. This is also where her love for singing started at age 11. KAMEDAH has had opportunities to perform locally in her Atlanta neighborhood, at her former high school, Roswell High, and nearby at a local coffeehouse.

KAMEDAH hopes to bring back the soul in music. “I love Country Music because it tells a story “, KAMEDAH tells a journalist. “ Soul Music is a jazzier form of Country Music, it tells it’s own story. I make music that I hope people will fall in love with", KAMEDAH further explains.  Her love for music can easily be heard through her beautiful voice that has been compared to the styles and sounds of super soul giants Corinne Bailey Rae, Monica, Alicia Keys, India Arie and the late songstress Aaliyah.

This young R&B /Soul Artist, who has written over 100 songs and plays the guitar, is off to a phenomenal start in her career and will be working with some of the best in the industry. KAMEDAH is currently in the studio with super producer Travon Potts, who has worked with talented hit-makers such as Monica and Christina Aguilera. KAMEDAH has signed with the seasoned music vets over at the Chicago-based label Infusion Music Group (IMG). Her album is set to be released the earlier part of 2013.
