The wills clinic featured many local attorneys and law students that helped draft wills and serve as notaries and witnesses. Each of the first responders that attended the clinic was offered a complimentary simple last will and testament, a declaration for the desire of a natural death or living will, and a healthcare power of attorney. Attorney Guthrie participated in this annual event in the Charleston area for the second straight year as he helped draft wills for responders and family members that attended. Mr. Guthrie appreciated the chance to be able to give back to those that proudly serve and protect us each and every day. The first responders and their families are vulnerable due to the inherent danger of their respective jobs and the great need for estate planning is present. Attorney Guthrie enjoyed participating in the event and look forward to being a part of it next year.
