PRLog - June 4, 2012 - KLAMPENBORG, Denmark -- “The size of the German software market is attractive for all foreign software companies, but actually a problem for the German software industry itself,” says Ms. Weidenhausen.
“The software market is certainly big enough to sustain comfortable growth, but it is still only 5,73% of world demand. Due to the size of the home market German companies tend to focus mainly on this opportunity. The need for internationalization is often only realized at a late stage.
There are only few examples of global software industry market leaders of German origin. One of the issues is that the entire German consulting industry is focused on helping foreign software companies gain access to the German market. There is hardly any support for helping the German software industry with globalization. Thus the pool of people with international experience in the German software industry is and remains very small.
“We are very pleased with the addition of Mrs. Weidenhausen to our staff of senior consultants in Germany,” says Hans Peter Bech, Group CEO of TBK Consult. “Mrs. Weidenhausen has the international experience required for providing business development support to the German-speaking software industry. With her international background and international business development experience we can help break the vicious circle, that affects the German software industry.”
Marion Weidenhausen is located in Munich, Bavaria.
