Bay Area Ambassadors Continue Win Streak

June 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Oakland, CA (June 2, 2012)- The Bay Area Ambassadors (Ambassadors) will put their win streak on the line against the San Francisco Stompers (Stompers) this weekend at home. The match will be played at Acalanes High School Saturday June 9th, at 5:00 p.m.

Another win on their home field puts the Ambassadors at 4-1-3 for the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) season. The Ambassadors are still unbeaten at home, which includes two wins on their current three-game win streak. Intense training and a collective attitude have been the keys to success recently. The Ambassadors are coming off their best offensive performance of the NPSL season in a 6-1 win against the Phoenix Monsoon.

The Ambassadors and Stompers have faced off two times already. The first match came in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup qualifying where the Ambassadors cruised past the stompers with a 9-0 victory. They faced again in the NPSL season opener. The Stompers came away with 1-0 victory that time. This weekend’s game has the makings to be a battle as it will be the rubber match between the two teams.
