A Rare Find to Start Making Money

Looking around the house one day I noticed that stuff was piling up. It was house cleaning day, and I noticed that the stuff that I had did not have a place to go. So the decision I made was to make money with what I had accumulated over the years.

June 4, 2012 - PRLog -- I have quite a few collections that I have accumulated throughout the years, and I have decided that since there is no room for some of the stuff that I have anymore that it would be a smart decision to let these items go to someone else who will appreciate them as I have. Some of the collections that I have include: Baseball Cards, Royal Doulton Toby Jugs, Comic Book, Coins, Gold and Silver to name a few. Mostly I have had the Baseball Cards since I was a kid as well as the Comic Books. Some of the other items I started within the last five to ten years, and little did I know I could actually make money on them. I did what quite a lot of other people have done, and that was open an Ebay Store, Google Merchant Account and Ecommerce Store named Ebay Collectibles http://www.ebaycollectibles.com/ and start selling the stuff that other people could enjoy.

I really enjoyed doing this, it became a hobby to me, and I was making money on the item that I did not have use for anymore. As you can imagine the products that I had were running out and I still loved what I was doing. A friend of mine asked me to go to a local sale that our city had to raise money for charity, so I decided to go and see what it was all about. I had not been to any garage sales, estate sales let alone auctions. At this sale I found a couple cool items that I thought I could make some money one, for example a Copper Music Box Car that I bought for a few dollars and it sold in our Ebay Store for about $14.00. The real excitement came when I was leaving the sale, and I stopped and looked at a bin of books they were selling and found a first edition Gone with the Wind 1936 September Print. I got back in line and purchased the book for (are you ready) $4.00. This was one of the first real items that I “Picked” and then sold for a profit of $35.00. This encouraged me to go out and start Picking.
