Beaverton, Oregon, USA--(June 4, 2012) — Kimera Systems, the world’s pioneering provider of Native Intelligence as a Service (NIaaS), today announced that it is one of 30 start-ups selected from hundreds across the globe to present at SVForum’s Launch: Silicon Valley 2012, Silicon Valley’s most affordable, high visibility platform for emerging technology companies to springboard their products or services into the market. The event, to be held June 5th at Microsoft’s Mountain View, CA Campus, is designed to uncover and showcase products and services from the most exciting of the newest startups in information technology, mobility, digital media, next generation internet, life sciences and clean energy.

The program will start at 8:30 a.m., when Steve Blank will be interviewed about his new book “the Startup Owners Handbook” followed by discussions on the changing role of venture capital, updates from several Launch: Silicon Valley alumni companies, a look into what’s in store for us from Paul Saffo, futurist, and a lively discussion with Ray Rothrock, Chair of the National Venture Capital Association.  The afternoon will be given over to the 30 presenting companies, when each one will have the opportunity to present their products and field questions from the audience and a panel of VCs and Angels. An award will be given for the “Most Likely to Succeed” in each of the six presenting categories. Finalists will also be given the opportunity to pitch to representatives from Enterprise Ireland, which can provide up to $500,000 in seed funding to companies looking to locate part of their operations in Europe. Presenters will be available to showcase their companies and products in the exhibition hall, which is open for networking, deal making, and interviews between presentations.

The event will kick off with the Pre-Launch: Silicon Valley 2012 Press Briefing introducing the finalists to the media for their stories, and Pre- Event Party on the evening of June 4, when presenting startup teams will have the opportunity to network with some of Silicon Valley's most influential executives and deal makers.

Kimera Systems CEO, Mounir Shita, said, “We are very pleased to be selected for Launch: Silicon Valley 2012.  It’s a great opportunity for us to show how NIaaS can deliver tomorrow’s internet today.  We believe the audience at Launch will understand how disruptive our technology is and the audacity of our message that the User eXperience paradigm must be radically changed; it needs to be turned on its head. Technology should come to the user at the right time with the right data, instead of the user having to look for the right technology and hope he gets it right.”

“We are excited to have innovative startups like Kimera Systems present at this year’s Launch: Silicon Valley product launch,” said Chris Gill, President of SVForum Board of Directors.  “Beyond the competition, Kimera Systems will have the opportunity to network with some of Silicon Valley's most influential executives and deal makers as a way to build critical relationships that support their path forward.”
