Helen Doan is a Vietnamese-American writer born in Kien Giang, Vietnam. She arrived in San Jose, California in 1986 where she grew up. Doan self-published a book of poetry in 2002 and has been writing feature-length screenplays for ten years, while keeping a journal of her independence. Currently living and working in the county of Los Angeles, Doan aspires to make her mark on both the literary and entertainment worlds.
