June 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Camp Hill, PA - "Howl of a Thousand Winds", novelist Morris Workman's debut horror novel, took the top spot in print for the second month in a row thanks to author events. Jackson Holiday's Carlinesque rant, "Who Sh*t in my Zen Garden: Random Stuff that Spoils my Day" led all eBook downloads due to a strong Kindle free download promotion. The Natalie D. Craumer Writing Workshop at the Fredricksen Library in Camp Hill took #2 in print again thanks to a huge release party for "A Community of Writers: A Short Story Compilation." All profits benefit the library. Bob Knapp's "The Devil's Palm" returned to the eBook rankings at #2, thanks to a strong Kindle free download promotion. Carole LaPlante's, "The Magic Is In You," held #3 in print. William F Lee's love story "Home is a Long Time Ago" placed 3rd in eBooks thanks to Kindle promotions.

Farrell & Farley's "Keystone Tombstones Volume I" continued to sell well thanks to author appearances on TV and radio.

Willow Rockwell's "My Wheels Gave Me Wings" sold well thanks to a magazine article in Bicycling Magazine.

Christopher Zoukis's reference "Education Behind Bars" continued to sell well thanks to promotional activities.

William Lemaski's Kermit Roosevelt biography, "Lost in the Shadow of Fame" and Steve Troutman's "Tulpehocken Trail Traces" made the list thanks to author events.

Karim El Koussa's "The Phoenician Code" and "Pythagoras" made the list thanks to international sales.

The top eBooks were all boosted by free Kindle download promotions. Making the list were "MONAD 12.21.12," "The Paladin," "Twilight of the Drifter," "The Fourth Nail," "City Havoc," "The Last Egyptian Mamluk," and "The Cairo Incident."

Sales for the month of May were down over 25% compared to same month sales in 2011, although May was the strongest sales month in 2012. Sales declined in all categories.
