The trek itinerary is specifically tailored to include some remote trails along the far side of the Khumbu valley, places many other standard treks never visit. We spend a night next to the western valley of Thame, a popular village for famous climbers, enjoying the monastery, wildlife, and beautiful Himalayan scenery close-up before trekking on to the hidden villages of Khunde and Khumjung. The trail leads us to the Tengboche monastery, where you will be rewarded with spectacular, 360-degree views of Ama Dablam, Mount Everest & Lhotse, Thamserku, Kwangde, Tawache, Khumbila, and Kwandge along with the magnificent Tyangboche Monastery.
