Follow on Google News | Cedars Village welcomes MP for coffee and chatChorleywood MP David Gauke has praised the ‘positive’ atmosphere at Cedars Village, the area’s established retirement village, describing the environment as both ‘stimulating and peaceful’.
By: Retirement Villages Mr Gauke was welcomed to the village, which sits within his south west Hertfordshire constituency, by Jon Gooding the Chief Executive of Retirement Villages Ltd. He was taken on a tour of the village, including the three new coach houses unveiled this month, by Jon and Village Manager Colin Foulger. After that he joined a number of residents in the historic conservatory for morning coffee. Colin said: “The residents enjoyed spending time with Mr Gauke who discussed both Cedars Village and local issues.” Mr Gauke said: “I was delighted to visit Cedars Village. As usual, the residents were active, engaged and very much enjoying a lively and sociable retirement.
