By: Young Epilepsy The pupils from Young Epilepsy’s St Piers School have spent weeks designing the tasty treats which will be baked by the Rose & Crown. They will be sold during the Jubilee celebrations, with 50% of the profit going to the national charity which is dedicated to children and young people aged 25 and under living with epilepsy. Dave Creasey, Rose & Crown Bar Manager, said: “Young Epilepsy is a great charity and this will be a fun day that will hopefully raise lots of money for them. We would love for you all to support your local charity and have a great time celebrating the Jubilee. Thank you to all the students for the amazing cake designs as well.” Chloe Edwards, Young Epilepsy Community Fundraiser, said: “The BBQ and fun day is going to be a fun occasion to celebrate the Queen’s 60 years on the throne and our student’s tasty designs. It will be a great day out so come down and bring the whole family.” Epilepsy is a serious debilitating disorder of the body’s nervous system causing symptoms such as paralysis, muscle weakness and seizures.
