Consul General and Mrs. Federica Barattolo joined Mr. Furia on Friday morning at The Breakers Palm Beach to meet with Town of Palm Beach Mayor Gail Coniglio, welcomed by The Breakers CEO, Paul Leone.
Mr. Furia serves on the Board of Directors of NIAF, based in Washington, D.C., and is its General Counsel and a member of its Executive Committee. He is the State of Florida representative for the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy (AMCHAM), and past president of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce.
Consul General Barattolo’s mission is to promote business and trade opportunities and expand educational and cultural exchanges. He has enjoyed an extensive career as a diplomat representing Italy on several continents. His Consular region includes Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Puerto Rico, U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius, Saba and the Bahamas.
