Nutritional analysis, food labels, regulatory issues, integrated with Genesis R&D Software

May 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Nutritional analysis, food labels experts Food Consulting Company, today announced the launch of the industry’s first Advanced User Training for ESHA’s Genesis R&D software that will now feature important regulatory issues relevant to the food labels community. The two-day advanced training, first held in conjunction with the Natural Products Expo West last March, is becoming an ongoing offering at industry conferences, such as the Institute of Food Technologists Annual Meeting and  Expo on June 27-28, 2012 The advanced training, including nutritional analysis, food labels, will overview key insights about regulatory issues many companies face when developing their food labels using the nutritional analysis software. The Advanced User Training, created and taught by Food Consulting Company, validates the need for high level education to ensure food labels’ 100% FDA compliance.

The Advanced User Training nutritional analysis and regulatory curriculum includes insights about Food Labels Nutrition Facts Panels:  choosing the best compliant option, Food Labels Ingredient Statements:  making them as clean as possible, and Food Labels Allergen Statements:  required and optional disclosures. Additionally, the training will cover nuances about food label nutrient content claims, health claims, and other marketing claims and food label statements such as natural, organic, and gluten-free. Finally, Food Consulting Company will take open questions regarding nutritional analysis, food labels, and regulatory issues such as product identity, front-of-pack symbol systems, and other issues important to those who are responsible for food labels.
