May 31, 2012 - PRLog -- On The Wrighter, a blog contributed primarily by artist, writer and actress, Kobina Wright, Virgina Bryant is featured as one of the blog’s interviewed contemporary artist.  The interview is part of a series paying tribute to the sale of an iconic painting by Edvard Munch, “The Scream.”

“My painting is a progression and development of collaborations with paint that evolves from gestural abstraction, staining and pouring techniques and automatic writing,” Bryant says.

On The Wrighter (http://www.thewrighteronline.com/2012/05/todays-featured-artist-virginia-bryant.html) Bryant answers five key questions that Wright intends to ask most of the artists featured on the blog from May until the end of summer (2012).

When asked about her favorite and recent purchase, Bryant replied, “I know I ‘should’ say a new sable brush, which I have not used yet, but really, I totally enjoyed these really great raw fruit bars and organic pecans yesterday, more, so far. Once the brush gets to working that may well change!"

The Wrighter is scheduled to feature two artists per week as the planned features are rolled out on the heels of the recent sell of one of Wright’s own paintings titled, “Newton’s Attraction,” which is part of her latest series of paintings from the Kobiphysics series.

Wright is a California native who earned her BA in Journalism from the California State University, Fullerton.  She has created several art series, including, “Fractured,”  “Cali Free,” “Eleven Twenty-Three Girl” and most recently, “Kobiphysics.”  Wright is also now a featured artist on the online gallery, America Fine Art (https://www.americafineart.org/Kobina).

Wright has also written several books, including, “50” and “A Crime And A Simplification Of Something Sublime,” the latter includes several of her sketches.  She has performed in theater productions, independent films and commercials and is currently working on a collection of poetry.
