Dave McNaught, owner of McNaught Guitars has been quoted as saying: "My top 3 guitar players: Randy Rhoads, Paul Gilbert, and Xander Demos,...in no particular order."
Xander Demos posted this statement on his Facebook page: "Just wanted to express my ultimate 'thanks' and my appreciation to David Thomas McNaught for believing in me and for creating a signature guitar for me. I am fiercely loyal to his brand, as well as Suhr, and I feel so lucky to have the support of those companies behind me. To have an instrument named after you is one of the highest honors, in my opinion, so I'm a bit overwhelmed today."

Other artists playing McNaught Guitars include John 5 (Rob Zombie,) John Schaffer (Iced Earth,) Neal Schon (Journey,) and Tony Rombola (Godsmack,) who also has just received a signature guitar from McNaught.
