Quintessentially British celebrations at The Capital With the Queen’s Jubilee weekend ahead, The Capital in London’s Knightsbridge will offer guests a special Queen’s Jubilee menu during June in their restaurant and private rooms. The menu is a replica of the dishes enjoyed by Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II on a previous visit to the Capital Restaurant. It includes seared scallops ceviche, deep fried crab and cucumber jelly, fillet of lamb in black olive crust and more. The works have brought to light the unique stylistic features of the hotel’s historic buildings which date back to the first century AD, including the remains of a Roman caldarium and a Byzantine tower. The rooms and common areas now have a more classic feel, using white and grey to better reflect the Florentine Renaissance. The route will be serviced by two high-speed 266-passenger ferries which take approximately 70 minutes to travel to or from the Bintan Lagoon Terminal, a private immigration and ferry terminal, located directly on the resort's beachfront. The direct ferry will shorten the roundtrip by almost two hours and enables guests to spend more time at the resort by avoiding long queues at the busy Bintan terminal.
