Globus is the latest member to join Voices of Prepaid India, partnering with Global Prepaid Exchange and some of the industry’s other leading players to drive the demand for prepaid in India.
VOPI is a programme of activities funded by companies from across the prepaid industry’s value chain: (issuers (including banks and telcos), programme managers, transaction processors, distributors, merchant acquirers, retailers, agencies, settlement partners or networks, card manufacturers and the regulator). The programmes purpose is to stimulate demand for prepaid products and services in India by creating awareness, understanding and interest in prepaid as an attractive solution for businesses and government. Globus joins as an Advisory Board Member of the group, allowing them to help drive the strategic direction of the group, delivering value to the industry through work-streams such as Events, Public Relations and Community Relations.
This news comes as VOPI looks set to establish itself as body dedicated to promoting growth and success within the industry.
