CareMore and Physician Medial Center Combines Forces to Form CareMore Medical Group Nevada

The new group will be known as CareMore Medical Group, Nevada.  Terms of the
agreement were not disclosed .Physicians Medical Center offers Primary Care, Specialty Care and Ancillary services, affords thousands of Las Vegas adults with comprehensive medical care in three Las Vegas facilities.  CareMore has operated a network of health care services, including a Medicare Advantage Plan, to adults in Las Vegas for several years.

"This merger was a great way for us to expand our services and capabilities with a like-minded organization," said  Fulgencio Antuna, MD, Physicians Medical Center.  "Our focus on primary care, prevention and the management of complex medical conditions aligns perfectly with the medical philosophy and long-term experience of the physicians of CareMore."

Cerritos-California-based CareMore Medical Group, a separate entity affiliated with CareMore Health Plan, is a nationally recognized medical organization that was founded in Southern California in 1992.

President, CareMore Medical Group.  "To accommodate the growth of our health plan members, we needed a strategic partner to merge our physician operations and Physician Medical Center was just what the doctor ordered," he added.  "We anticipate further expansion in the Las Vegas market and our new physician entity will facilitate our ability to care for more patients with the same level of care for which we are nationally recognized," he added.
