New Internet Radio Station Featuring Cliff Richard and Friends To Launch June 1st

May 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Wired For Sound Radio, a new internet radio station centered around the music of Cliff Richard (and friends), launches at www.WiredForSoundRadio.com on Friday, June 1, 2012.

The station’s playlist consists of more than 800 Cliff Richard tracks, more than 150 tracks by The Shadows, and hundreds of additional songs by other musical artists.

Wired For Sound Radio will feature more than 50 years worth of Cliff Richard’s British and American hits, as well as album tracks, B-sides, duets, live recordings and more.  Additionally, both instrumental and vocal recordings by The Shadows, Richard’s long-time musical associates, will be frequently played.

In addition to the prominent focus on the recorded legacy of Cliff Richard and The Shadows, the station’s musical mix will also feature tracks by a wide variety of other artists.  These include a number of records on which the artist, songwriter or producer has a tie-in to the career of Cliff Richard.  Other artists’ versions of songs that have also been recorded or performed by Cliff Richard will also be featured.
